C. Denise Marcelle

Denise is the mother of 2 and grandmother of 10. Denise was elected to serve a second term on the East Baton Rouge Parish Metro Council. She received her BA from Southern University in Criminal Justice. She serves on the Baton Rouge Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, the Head Start Policy Board, and the DMC Sub-Committee. She is also the Co-Chair of the Dumas House Board. Denise has worked in the legal field for over 30 years. She is very active in her church Disciples Outreach Ministry. She is a licensed notary public, and she enjoys serving her community, shopping, and traveling.
