Ramp Up of 2012 for Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys
Hoping each of you had a safe and happy New Year! As we all return to work and get back to the hustle of life, I am grateful today for a great holiday season.
We wrapped up our 94 Bike Giveaway on December 21st with the bike pick up for the winners. I was humbled by the great response from the people of our community and colleagues alike. We were able to make Christmas a bit better for several children of our community. Years later my greatest childhood memory is still finding that green, Schwinn bike under the tree on Christmas morning. The joy and freedom it brought me was unlike any other. To know that we were able to pass along that joy to the children of our community is an amazing feeling. I’m very happy to be a part of the Baton Rouge community who has been so great to my firm.
On December 22nd, our firm rang bells for the Salvation Army. This too was an excellent experience for all of us, and we look forward to doing it again next year.
We finished the year with “Tipsy Taxi”, which provided free cab rides home throughout the holiday season. This year we had an overwhelming response and are happy to know that through our service the roads were a little safer. In fact, it is reported today that there were zero fatal accidents during the “critical hours” of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day!
As we tackle the 2013, I encourage you to think about ways you can give back and make a difference in our community.
I wish you all much happiness and success in the New Year.
God Bless and Happy 2013!
