Brant Legendre, originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, graduated from Parkview Baptist High School in 2009 and chose to attend Northwestern State University on a football scholarship. He went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree from NSU in 2013. In 2017, Brant received his law degree from Southern University Law Center. During law school, Brant was afforded the opportunity to clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Louisiana
Before joining the firm, Brant clerked for the Honorable David Ritchie at the 14thJudicial District Court in Lake Charles. He later joined a local firm in Lake Charles practicing general law and personal injury. In 2019, Brant joined Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys in Lake Charles, where he serves as an attorney in the pre-litigation department. Brant is admitted to practice law in all Louisiana State courts. Brant realized that being a lawyer representing personal injury clients can really afford him the opportunity to connect with them but most importantly he can help them “get back on their feet.”
Brant is married to Brittney Dupuis Legendre of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and they have one daughter, Harper Jane, and a mixed breed dog, Cub. They are members of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Brant enjoys spending time with his family, hunting with his Dad and brother, and following all sports, especially the LSU Tigers, Boston Red Sox, and New Orleans Saints (Who Dat?!).
