Matt Hunt

Matt began his career with a regional public accounting firm, where he focused on auditing and tax work. He then joined Wireless One, Inc., overseeing all accounting and reporting functions for 32 subsidiaries across the Southeast, as well as playing a key role in taking the company public. In 1998 he co-founded Roux Business Systems, a professional services consulting firm providing project management and accounting solutions to mid-market customers ranging from $1 million to over $500 million in revenue. In his role, he helped customers utilize technology to streamline their operational and financial processes and reporting. In 2014 Matt assumed the dual role of CFO/Controller of Sparkhound, LLC in Baton Rouge until he joined Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys in March of 2020. Matt is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University. Matt is a fan of everything LSU and New Orleans Saints. Matt is a current member of Baton Rouge Ancient Athletes Society where he participates in different sports year round. He and his wife, Jeanne, have two sons, Carter and Jonathon.
