Misti Landry Bryant was born and raised in Broussard, Louisiana. Misti attended Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Mississippi College Moot Court board, serving as clerk of the board. She interned with the Mississippi Supreme Court, U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Mississippi Secretary of State’s office.
Prior to joining the firm, she practiced law at a local insurance defense firm. There, she litigated numerous personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Misti has litigated cases before the Louisiana Appellate Courts and has served as co-counsel on cases before the Louisiana Supreme Court.
She joined Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys in 2016. With GMIA, she serves as an attorney in the litigation department. Misti is admitted to practice law in all Louisiana and Mississippi state courts and federal courts in both states. Misti handles wrongful death, automobile accidents, workers’ compensation, 18 wheeler accidents, slip and falls and premise liability cases. She takes a sincere personal interest in each of her clients, and their lives. Her desire is for each client to leave the firm in a better place than they were before.
Misti lives in Lafayette, Louisiana, with her husband, Justin and three sons, Parker, Henry, and Jack. She is an active member of Sacred Heart Church and Junior League of Lafayette.
