About Paul J. Tellarico
Paul Tellarico was born in Long Island, New York. He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on a gymnastics scholarship. He also attended law school at LSU where he was a member of the LSU Law Moot Court Team which took Second Place in the National F. Lee Bailey Moot Court competition.
He was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association in 1989 and joined the firm of Neblett, Beard & Arsenault in Alexandria where he became a partner in January of 1993. In 2012 he started the Tellarico Law Firm where he has been until joining Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys in March of 2019.
He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Louisiana as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
He is involved in litigation in all types of personal injury cases including admiralty, products liability, FELA, class actions and auto, motorcycle, bicycle, and trucking accidents.
Paul was the President of the Alexandria Bar Association, Chairman of the Rapides Parish Civil Service Board, Board of Governors Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, member of the Louisiana State Bar Association Liaison Committee and 2008-2009 President Crossroads-American Inns of Court. Most of his pro bono work is handling children in need of care cases representing children who have been removed from the family home.
Paul has two sons, Mitchell and Blake. He is an avid competitive triathlete and often cooks for family and friends.
