W. Brett Cain is from Kansas City, Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri/Columbia as a freshman before transferring to LSU/Shreveport on Scholarship. Brett graduated from LSU/Shreveport in 1994 with a BA in History and as a member of the History Honor Society. Brett then went to LSU in Baton Rouge from 1995 to 1998 where he received his Juris Doctorate. After graduating from law school, Brett was a lead trial attorney for a Shreveport firm. During that time, he was lead in over 500 trials representing injured plaintiffs.
Brett worked for 4 years as a litigation expert for Safeway Insurance Company of Louisiana where he tried and won more cases than any other associate.
Brett enjoys working out and playing tennis as well as cheering for his home state Missouri Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs.
