Winter Storm Leon Leaves Many Inside

Winter Storm Leon has delivered an abundance of sleet and ice over the past few days from ranging from Texas to the coastal Southeast, coastal Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region of the United States. In Baton Rouge it is seldom that we get to experience sleet and ice and especially for multiple days at a time. As these types of weather conditions are foreign to most Louisiana residents I advise all to remain cautious. Schools, government offices, road closures and even curfews are a result of this winter storm. If you are traveling on the roads I advise you to please use an abundance of caution, as there are many closures and icy roads that still remain even after the storm has well passed the area.
