G’s Five Good Things — Week of November 7, 2025
“G’s Five Good Things” offers a curated look at the moments, messages, and milestones that stood out to us each week. Our goal is to provide valuable insights through meaningful updates and positive momentum that inform and engage our community.
Let’s get into G’s Five Good Things! And remember, if you ever need help after a wreck or injury, you can contact my team anytime day or night.
The Good Word:
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
– Colossians 3:15
This verse reminds us to let Christ’s peace guide our thoughts and actions. It’s a gentle call to slow down, to listen, and to lead with gratitude. When His peace rules our hearts, we find balance even in our busy days. A thankful spirit can turn any moment into worship. True peace doesn’t come from our circumstances, but from knowing that Christ is in control. By trusting Him fully, we can face challenges with calm confidence. We stay united as one body, and live each day with hearts filled with thankfulness and grace.
Good in Action:
A $4.4 million settlement was recovered by Attorney Richie Zimmerman for a Baton Rouge client injured in an auto accident. It’s wins like this that reinforce our purpose, helping those hurt get the support and justice they deserve. Richie worked closely with his client every step of the way, making sure their story was heard and their needs came first. Achievements like this show our firm’s commitment to turning hardship into hope and ensuring that every client walks away with both justice and dignity restored.
Gordon Says:
Stay grounded. Life has a way of trying to pull you off balance, work gets hectic, people test your limits, plans fall through. But if you keep your feet planted in what matters most, you’ll ride out the rough patches just fine. Deep roots don’t break easy. They remind us where our strength comes from and keep us steady when everything around us feels uncertain. So take a breath, stand firm in your values, and trust that even in chaos, you’re growing stronger and more grounded than before.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
After a wreck, what you post online matters more than you think. Even something as simple as a smiling photo or a night out with friends can be twisted by insurance companies to downplay your injuries or question your claim. They look for anything that weakens your story, even the small stuff you wouldn’t think twice about.
The truth is, they’ll look anywhere they can to minimize what they owe, and that includes your social media. So before you hit “post,” think twice. Protect yourself and your case by keeping the details offline until everything’s settled. Sometimes the best move isn’t saying more, it’s staying one step ahead.
Glimpse Behind the G:
This week, I had the chance to stop by a place that means a lot to me, Loyola Law School in New Orleans. It’s where I earned my law degree, made lifelong friends, and first fell in love with this incredible city. Being back brought back so many great memories, from late nights studying to the moments that shaped the person and attorney I’ve become.
New Orleans will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m grateful for the chance to give back to the community that’s given me so much after opening an office in the area earlier this year. Establishing roots in Metairie has allowed us to serve clients in the heart of the community while staying connected to the city that helped shape us. It’s been rewarding to bring our expertise closer to clients and support the people and neighborhoods that make this area so vibrant.
