The Good Word:
“But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.”
– 2 Peter 3:13
This verse is a powerful reminder of the hope we have as believers. In a world marked by pain, injustice, and brokenness, it’s easy to become discouraged or overwhelmed. But Scripture consistently points us beyond the temporary struggles of this life to the eternal promises of God. The brokenness we see all around us, and even within us, reveals our deep need for repentance and a Savior. It reminds us that this world, in its current form, is not our final home.
One day, Jesus will return. He will not come to seek the lost, but to bring final justice, to judge evil, and to make all things new. He will establish a new heaven and a new earth, free from sin, sorrow, and death. In that place, righteousness will not just be an ideal, but it will dwell there permanently, saturating everything and everyone.
Good in Action:
We’re proud to announce that Attorney Brent Robinson recently recovered a $130,000 settlement for a client in an auto case in Baton Rouge. It’s a reminder that focused effort and experience can make all the difference when fighting for the justice our clients deserve. This outcome reflects not only Brent’s legal skill, but also our firm’s commitment to guiding clients through difficult times with care and determination. Every case matters, and we’re honored to help our clients secure the results they need to move forward.
Gordon Says:
Choose compassion. We don’t always know what someone else is carrying. The world can feel heavy at times, and often, people are navigating more than they let on.
When we lead with compassion, we create space for understanding. We remind others (and ourselves) that kindness isn’t weakness, it’s strength. It’s what brings teams together, builds trust, and makes hard moments a little more bearable.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
The clock is ticking, and every moment counts after an accident. Don’t let time run out on your claim, waiting too long can limit your options or even bar your right to recover. The longer you wait, the greater the risk that crucial evidence will disappear or become harder to gather. Act now to protect your rights and give your case the strongest possible foundation.
Glimpse Behind the G:
LSU Tigers quarterback, Garrett Nussmeier, took a break from the grind to join us at Court to Table, and we were thrilled to have him with us. During a busy season, it’s refreshing to see leaders like Garrett make time for meaningful connections and community. Taking time to step back, recharge, and engage with others off the field reminds us all of the importance of balance. It’s these moments that keep us grounded, motivated, and ready to give our best, both on game day and every day.
