Gordon McKernan Partners with New Orleans Influencer Keyala Cottrell

At Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to support our community—and sometimes, those connections happen in the most unexpected ways. That’s exactly how our partnership with New Orleans influencer and small business owner Keyala Cottrell began.

Like many great partnerships in today’s world, this one started online. After a little back-and-forth, we knew we wanted to connect and do something special together. Keyala isn’t just an influencer, she’s a local entrepreneur with a heart for her community, and we wanted to support that.

A Sweet Collaboration

Keith Accardo, one of our own attorneys from Metairie and a proud Archbishop Rummel graduate, met up with Keyala in person. Keith welcomed her on behalf of our firm, giving her a G-swag bag full of merch. But we weren’t just there to give—we also picked up a big order from her local business, Keyala’s Pralines, because when we support each other, the whole community wins.

Lunch and Learn

A few weeks later, Gordon met up with Keyala for lunch at Jamaican Jerk House. It was a chance to get to know each other a little more, talk about their passions, and share a great meal together. It’s moments like these that show how business partnerships should be more than just transactions—they should be about building real relationships.
