Jim Scala

Jim has been with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys since August 2010 and assumed the position of General Manager. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Rosemary and George Scala. He has one sister and two brothers and graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School. Jim attended College at Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont where he received his bachelor’s degree.

After graduation, he began his career in retail. He worked for Dayton Hudson, Marshall Fields, Lechmere and later continued his retail profession at L.L. Bean, this is where he met his wife, Mary Jane. Since Jim’s wife was originally from Baton Rouge, they decided to move to her hometown, calling Baton Rouge home since 2002.

He has three boys and a dog named Bella. Jim loves to spend time with his immediate and extended family, working in his vegetable garden, fishing and playing tennis. His major passion in life is cooking which he loves to do for all his friends and family.
