Ellen Simon

Ellen joined Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys in 2005 after having worked as a paralegal in plaintiffs’ firms since 1994. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature as well as a Paralegal certificate from Louisiana State University.

Ellen has primarily worked on litigation cases involving serious injuries. During her time here, she has worked with attorneys to resolve cases involving automobile accidents, products liability, premise liability, industrial accidents, maritime injuries, medical malpractice, fatalities and mass torts. She is currently the Senior Litigation Paralegal, assisting attorneys on larger cases and trials.

Ellen strongly believes in fighting for the client against big corporations and insurance companies. She most enjoys bringing a sense of justice and normalcy back to the lives and families of people who have suffered injuries due to the negligence or fault of others.

In her spare time, Ellen and her husband, Brent, stay busy with the active sports life of their teenage son. Ellen also enjoys cooking for her family and fishing.
