G’s Five Good Things — Week of October 13, 2025
“G’s Five Good Things” offers a curated look at the moments, messages, and milestones that stood out to us each week. Our goal is to provide valuable insights through meaningful updates and positive momentum that inform and engage our community.
Let’s get into G’s Five Good Things! And remember, if you ever need help after a wreck or injury, you can contact my team anytime day or night.
The Good Word:
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
– 2 Corinthians 12:9
We all hit moments where we feel like we’re running on empty. God doesn’t expect us to have it all together. When life feels like too much, when the weight of the world sits heavy on your shoulders, God reminds us that we don’t have to carry it all. He wants us to step into a place of humility and simply lean on Him.
So if this week feels heavy – physically, mentally, spiritually – know that you’re not alone in it. God sees every struggle, every quiet moment where you’re just trying to keep going. Take a deep breath and let Him meet you right where you are. His strength is steady, His love is constant, and His grace is always enough.
Good in Action:
Attorney Sonny Lopez recovered a $132,000 settlement for a client injured in an auto accident in Shreveport, LA. This result underscores our ongoing mission to protect the injured and make sure their voices are heard. Every win is a step toward rebuilding what was lost and reminding our clients that they don’t have to face this alone. Each case represents more than numbers on paper, it’s about helping real people move forward after life-changing moments. We’re proud to stand beside our clients every step of the way, fighting for the justice and peace of mind they deserve.
Gordon Says:
Choose integrity. Doing the right thing doesn’t always come with recognition. Sometimes, it’s quiet. Sometimes, it’s hard. But it always matters. Integrity is showing up the same way, no matter who’s watching. It’s telling the truth, keeping your word, and staying grounded in what you believe, even when it costs something. Integrity builds trust, strengthens character, and leaves a lasting impact long after the moment has passed. When we choose integrity daily, in both the small and big decisions, we create a life that truly reflects our values.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
You wait for the call that never comes. You leave message after message, hoping someone on the other end will finally do the right thing. But days turn into weeks, and all you get is silence. That’s when it hits you, they’re not looking out for you. They’re looking out for what’s cheapest. You deserve better than to be ignored or pushed aside. When others stay quiet, we step in and make your voice heard. You deserve someone who will fight for your story, your recovery, and your peace of mind.
We are here for you when no one else answers.
Glimpse Behind the G:
This week, Gordon Gives and Tan Cares took a trip over to Dufrocq Elementary for White Cane Day with our 225 Teacher of the month Bulletin Board winner, Mr. Anthony Parker. It was a special day for the students and a great example of the positive impact teachers like Mr. Parker make in their schools. Educators like him don’t just teach lessons, they shape confidence, spark curiosity, and show students what they’re capable of. Their dedication reaches far beyond the classroom, leaving a lasting impression that stays with their students for years to come. We’re proud to support local educators who go above and beyond for their students every day!
