Gordon McKernan spoke to the high school students at Glen Oaks High School Career Day about career choices.  What determines what you will be?  Mainly character and leadership qualities.  Gordon spoke about different qualities that he has exhibited through his life that have assisted in shaping him as a person and ultimately as an attorney.

Gordon spoke to over 150 pre-teen and teens at Abounding Love Ministries.  In attendance were some of his staff to speak to the children about the law, continuing education and safe driving.  The young adults participated by answering questions.  Gordon handed out prizes to the ones that answered correctly.

Gordon McKernan speaks to two high school classes on April 21, 2011 about ‘Career Day – What’s Up With Your Life?’  The students were very involved in the presentation, asking questions about being a attorney, making commercials, the types of law, education and why Mr. McKernan loves practicing law.

Wednesday, March 23, 2011, Gordon McKernan was invited to speak at the First Baptist Church in Plaquemine.  Gordon spoke on Furthering the Kingdom Brick by Brick.

February 2011, Gordon McKernan spoke to the high school students at Valley Park Alternative School about the dangers of distracted driving.  Gordon gave the students a brief PowerPoint presentation as well as letting them ask questions.
