Help the Get Gordon Team Raise $75,000 for Veterans and the Fisher House Foundation

To honor the men and women who have served our country, the team at Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys is giving back this Veterans Day. Beginning October 10 through November 9, 2017, we are coming together with the help of our communities to raise $75,000 for our veterans. You can join us in showing our support by making a donation to the Fisher House Foundation. To show our appreciation, we are matching your donations with up to $25,000. Together with your help we can make a real difference in the lives of active service members, veterans and their families.

Fisher House: A Home Away From Home For Service Members

For nearly three decades, Fisher House Foundation has provided free lodging where veterans, active military, and their families can stay while receiving medical care at military and VA hospitals. Currently, there are 72 Fisher Houses throughout the United States, Germany and England. These homes provide temporary, comfortable housing to help keep families together to offer love and support while they are healing from injury or illness. In addition, Fisher House Foundation manages the Hero Miles and Hotels for Heroes programs, which uses donated frequent flyer miles and hotel points to allow family members of ill or injured service members to be near their loved ones during treatment. Since it was founded in 1990, the Foundation has served more than 305,000 military families and saved over $360 million in lodging and transportation costs for service members and their families. Fisher House has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator 13 years in a row and an ‘A+’ rating from CharityWatch/American Institute of Philanthropy.
