The Good Word:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
– Isaiah 9:6
This verse reminds us that God made a promise long before the first Christmas night. At this time of year, we remember the gift God gave us on earth, His Son, sent with purpose and love. He brings joy, peace, and hope, not just for the season, but for every day of our lives. Through Him, we experience salvation through grace, and that is something worth holding onto. His gift carries meaning far beyond the lights and celebrations. Every day, His grace guides us and shapes our lives.
Good in Action:
What an incredible week! We had the pleasure of hosting our Gordon Gives Bike Giveaway in Baton Rouge, Hammond, and New Orleans. 🚲
We loved seeing the community come together and share in the excitement of this event. These moments clearly show how much impact a little generosity can have in spreading joy. Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration possible!
It is amazing to watch so many families enjoying the season together. We are grateful to be part of these joyful moments and connections. Each smile, laugh, and shared moment helps brighten the season. We hope the happiness from these events continues to spread throughout our communities.
Gordon Says:
Louisiana has a way of sticking with you. The food, the traditions, the outdoors, and the people, it’s a lifestyle you don’t find anywhere else.
That’s the spirit behind Louisiana Loaded. Will Hellmers and I started Louisiana Loaded to showcase the things we’re proud of and the places that shaped us, but it’s grown into something much bigger. It’s about celebrating our culture, supporting local, and sharing what makes Louisiana feel like home.
We’re excited to continue building it alongside the people who live this lifestyle every day. There’s a lot to be proud of here, and we’re just getting started.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
When it comes to personal injury cases, common sense matters, especially to a jury. If someone misses doctor’s appointments after an injury, the other side can use it against them. They might argue, ‘If they were really hurt, they would have seen a doctor.’ To protect your health and your case, follow your doctor’s advice carefully. Also, keep detailed records of every visit and communicate openly with your doctor. This way, the court sees that you are serious about your recovery. Ultimately, consistent care helps show the jury that your injuries are real and your claim is valid.
Glimpse Behind the G:
This week, we gathered together at Court to Table for our Christmas party, and it was a good reminder of why this season matters. With good food, familiar faces, and a chance to step away from the daily grind and enjoy the people you work alongside all year. We reflected on the past year, sharing a few laughs, and appreciating the effort it took to get here. It was simply just good people, good conversation, and gratitude for another year behind us and the work still ahead. It’s the kind of evening that sticks with you long after it’s over. We’re thankful for our team we have and the community that continues to support what we do.
