Let’s get into G’s Five Good Things! And remember, if you ever need help after a wreck or injury, you can contact my team anytime day or night.
The Good Word:
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
– James 1:12
This verse reminds us that perseverance isn’t about being strong all the time, it’s about choosing to keep going, even in small ways. God sees every quiet step forward. Trials may stretch us, but they also grow our hope and deepen our trust. Even in the moments when we feel worn down or unsure, He’s working in us, steadying our hearts, shaping our character, and reminding us that no step of faith is ever wasted. Each challenge becomes an opportunity to lean on Him a little more, to see His goodness in new ways, and to find strength we didn’t know we had. And at the end of that journey, His promise is greater than anything this world can offer, a forever home in His presence.
Good in Action:
Attorney Jeff Watson secured a $545,190 settlement for a Baton Rouge client hurt in an auto accident. It’s a meaningful step forward, providing both financial relief and peace of mind, and a reminder that even after a difficult moment, brighter days and new opportunities are still ahead. This result helps our client focus on healing, rebuild stability, and move toward a future that feels hopeful again. It reflects the hard work, dedication, and compassion our team brings to every case, standing with folks when life takes an unexpected turn and helping them find solid ground once more.
Gordon Says:
Doing the right thing isn’t always exciting, and most of the time nobody’s around to pat you on the back for it. Those little choices you make when no one’s paying attention say more about you than any speech or title ever will. At the end of the day, you’ve got to be able to look yourself in the mirror and know you stood by your principles, even when it would’ve been easier not to. That’s where real character is built, in the quiet moments, the unseen decisions, the times you choose integrity over convenience. Those choices shape the person you become and create a foundation you can stand on, no matter what comes your way.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
A lot of people look perfectly fine after an accident, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t hurting. The truth is, many injuries don’t show on the outside, no scars, no casts, nothing you can see. But they’re real, they’re painful, and they deserve to be taken seriously. It’s easy for others to overlook what you’re going through, but that doesn’t make your experience any less valid.
If you’re hurting, even if no one else can see it, don’t ignore it. You still have rights, and you still deserve help. Knowing your options can make all the difference in your recovery and your peace of mind.
