G’s Five Good Things — Week of August 4, 2025
“G’s Five Good Things” offers a curated look at the moments, messages, and milestones that stood out to us each week. Our goal is to provide valuable insights through meaningful updates and positive momentum that inform and engage our community.
Let’s get into G’s Five Good Things! And remember, if you ever need help after a wreck or injury, you can contact my team anytime day or night.
The Good Word:
“The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear?”
– Psalm 27:1
I’ve been through enough in life to know that fear can hit hard. However, every time I remember that the Lord is right there with me, the weight of that fear starts to lift. He’s walked me through many trials, and knowing He’s still beside me gives me the courage to keep going
Good in Action:
We’re excited to highlight a recent moment of kindness from one of our own. Attorney Katie Pizzini visited KIPP Central City Academy in New Orleans to hand out school supplies to students, helping them start the year with the tools they need to succeed.
It’s small acts like these that remind us how powerful simple support can be, especially for young minds just beginning their journey.
Gordon Says:
Better late than sorry!
With school back in session, the roads are more active than they’ve been in months, packed with school buses, young pedestrians, parents rushing to drop off their kids, and teens just learning to drive. It’s a busy, unpredictable time, and that means we all need to be a little more patient and a lot more alert.
Please remember to slow down in school zones, come to a complete stop when school buses are loading or unloading, and always stay aware of crosswalks and sidewalks where children may be present. Kids can be unpredictable, and it only takes a moment of distraction for tragedy to strike.
No appointment, meeting, or errand is worth putting a life at risk. So, let’s all commit to driving with care and making safety a priority, for our kids, our neighbors, and everyone sharing the road.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
Every case is different, and sometimes reaching a fair outcome means being ready to go to trial. That’s why it’s important to ask your attorney upfront: “Are you willing to take my case to trial if necessary?”
In this quick video, I explain why that question matters and how being prepared for trial can help strengthen your case.
Glimpse Behind the G:
A few members of our team recently took some well-deserved time to unwind and have fun together at Court To Table in Baton Rouge. It was a great chance to step away from work, share some laughs, and enjoy good food in good company. Moments like these remind us that we’re more than just coworkers, we’re a family who supports each other both inside and outside the office.
We’re grateful for these opportunities to connect, recharge, and build stronger bonds as a team. See some of the smiles and good times here!
