The Good Word:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” –Colossians 3:23
This verse reminds us that effort matters, even when no one else is watching. Our work carries purpose when it’s done with intention, excellence, and heart. More than that, rather than chasing approval or outcomes, we’re called to give our best in every moment. We trust that God sees it all. As a result, as we step into this week, this verse challenges us to show up fully. It calls us to stay disciplined and reminds us to take pride in the work placed before us. Dedication and faith go hand in hand.
Good in Action:
Five-star reviews across the board reflect Attorney Antonio Finley’s commitment to client service, thorough preparation, and strong results. Antonio Finley has been a part of our firm since 2021, and is driven by a belief in achievement in every field of human endeavor. Accomplished and dedicated, he strives to be a zealous advocate for those seeking justice. He delivers consistent, high-quality service through clear communication, careful attention to detail, and a client-first approach. He is always working to make a positive difference in the lives of those he serves.
Gordon Says:
Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys is honoring Black History Month by celebrating the leaders, voices, and changemakers who have driven progress, inspired change, and continue to shape our communities today. This month is an opportunity to reflect on the impact of those who paved the way. It is also a time to recognize the work still ahead and reaffirm our commitment to fairness, respect, and justice.
We believe meaningful change starts with listening, learning, and standing alongside one another, not just in February, but every day. By honoring history and supporting progress, we remain dedicated to building stronger communities and advocating for a more just future.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
A car wreck can happen in an instant and leave you feeling shaken and disoriented. In those moments, it helps to have 3 quick reminders of what to do to protect yourself and those around you.
First, make sure you’re okay. Check everyone in your vehicle. Check the driver and passengers of the other vehicle for injuries. Next, call first responders. Report the accident to the police. This allows medical assistance and an official report if needed. Finally, document the scene. Take photos of the vehicles, damage, and surroundings. Gather witness names, phone numbers, addresses, and any other relevant details. Taking these steps helps protect your safety, your rights, and the accuracy of what happens next.
Glimpse Behind the G:
We had the honor of meeting the winners of The Amazing Shake from North Corbin Junior High School. During their visit, these impressive students toured our office and spent time in The Garage Studio. They also had the opportunity to record a podcast. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and professionalism were truly impressive. It was an inspiring experience to welcome such motivated young leaders. We were proud to support programs that encourage confidence, communication, and professional development at an early age. Experiences like this highlight the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders.
