G’s Five Good Things — Week of January 9, 2026
“G’s Five Good Things” offers a curated look at the moments, messages, and milestones that stood out to us each week. Our goal is to provide valuable insights through meaningful updates and positive momentum that inform and engage our community.
Let’s get into G’s Five Good Things! And remember, if you ever need help after a wreck or injury, you can contact my team anytime day or night.
The Good Word:
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
This verse is a reminder that while we may not always have control over what comes our way, we can choose how we move forward. When we commit our work, our goals, and even our worries to the Lord, we’re reminded that progress happens step by step, often in quiet and unexpected ways.
It encourages us to stay patient, trust the process, and continue showing up with intention and gratitude, knowing that each day is an opportunity to move forward with purpose. Even small efforts matter, and consistency rooted in faith can lead to meaningful growth over time. By surrendering our plans and staying open to God’s direction, we allow Him to work in ways that are greater than what we could accomplish on our own.
Good in Action:
The year is already moving, and our team is hitting the ground running. Every case we take on, every client we support, and every community we serve is handled with intention and focus. We believe strong outcomes start with preparation, persistence, and people who truly care. That mindset guides everything we do, from the first conversation to the final resolution.
As the weeks ahead unfold, we remain committed to doing the work the right way by showing up, advocating fully, and delivering results when it matters most.

Get Legal with @GetGordon:
It’s important not to accept the first offer after an accident. Insurance companies often present quick settlement offers that may seem appealing at first. These offers are usually made before the full extent of your injuries, medical costs, and long-term impact are known.
Taking a step back to ask why the offer is being made so quickly can protect you from settling for far less than you deserve. When you seek an attorney and build your case properly, it often costs insurance companies more in the long run, as a strong legal team ensures every detail is documented and your claim is valued fairly.
Glimpse Behind the G:
McKernan family New Year’s Day traditions are one of our favorite ways to start the year. We kicked things off with a GrubGurlz x GrubDad collaboration in the kitchen, making sure to bring in all the New Year’s good luck with cabbage, black-eyed peas, and pork.
We hope everyone is off to a great start in 2026 and are sending our best wishes for a happy, healthy, and successful year ahead.
