G’s Five Good Things — Week of July 28, 2025
“G’s Five Good Things” offers a curated look at the moments, messages, and milestones that stood out to us each week. Our goal is to provide valuable insights through meaningful updates and positive momentum that inform and engage our community.
Let’s get into G’s Five Good Things! And remember, if you ever need help after a wreck or injury, you can contact my team anytime day or night.
The Good Word:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
– 2 Corinthians 12:9
There’s great freedom in knowing that I don’t have to have it all together all the time. I’m not expected to be perfect or have all the answers. When I reach the end of my strength, that’s often where God’s power begins to shine the brightest. His grace steps in when I feel inadequate, His strength carries me when I feel weak. In those moments, I’m reminded that my limitations aren’t failures, they’re invitations to trust Him more deeply.
Good in Action:
We’re proud to share that Attorney Keith Accardo, from our Metairie office, secured a $275,000 settlement for a client injured in an auto accident. More than just a number, this outcome represents real help for someone who was going through a challenging time.
At the heart of what we do is a simple goal, helping people get the support and justice they deserve. We’re grateful for the opportunity to stand beside our clients and make a difference when they need it most.
Gordon Says:
Stay curious! It’s something I say often, to my family, my friends, and everyone here at the firm.
Why? Because curiosity keeps us sharp. It pushes us to ask questions, learn more, and never settle for the surface-level answer. Whether you’re investigating a case, trying to better understand a client’s story, or just figuring out how to grow as a person, curiosity is the spark that lights the way.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
Were you injured, but it’s not showing up on an X-ray?
You’re not alone, and it doesn’t mean your pain isn’t real. In this quick video, I break down why some injuries, especially soft tissue damage or nerve-related issues, might not appear on standard imaging like X-rays.
Understanding how injuries are diagnosed is an important part of protecting your health and your legal case. If you’re hurting but not getting answers, this is a must-watch.
Glimpse Behind the G:
This past Saturday, we hosted a backpack giveaway in New Orleans and had an amazing turnout!
Over 400 students received brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies, and families enjoyed free food, face painting, balloon art, and music from DJ 6th Sense. I want to give a huge thanks to Keyala Cottrell, Councilman Freddie King III, and everyone on my team who helped make this event such a success! Check it out here!
