About Erik R. Miller

Erik Miller is a Baton Rouge native and a 2006 graduate of Episcopal High School. Following high school, Erik attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2010. Erik’s interest in law started while at Rhodes College when he worked as a law clerk for the Shelby County Public Defender’s Office representing indigent defendants in criminal matters. It was then that Erik realized that all people deserved to be represented in the court of law, regardless of their circumstances.

Erik obtained his Juris Doctor and Doctorate of Comparative Law at the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2013. During law school Erik gained valuable experience clerking for two local personal injury firms as well as working for the Honorable Judge Douglass Dodd at the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Upon graduation, Erik began his career with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys where he routinely secures large bodily injury settlements on behalf of injured victims in South Louisiana.
