Ryan Lloyd

Ryan Lloyd is a proud Northeast Louisiana native who has been practicing personal injury litigation since 2013. He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Ryan has been inducted into both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, prestigious organizations for which fewer than 1% of U.S. attorneys qualify for membership. He was also selected to Louisiana’s Rising Stars list in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, a distinction based on peer recognition and professional achievement.

A few of his results include:

• $1,900,000 – T-bone collision resulting in severe injuries
• $1,700,000 – Rear-end collision involving a commercial vehicle resulting in shoulder and back injuries
• $1,300,000 – Rear-end collision resulting in a neck injury
• $1,250,000 – School bus collision resulting in arm and spinal injuries

Before joining Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, Ryan earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) and his law degree from Southern University Law Center. During law school, Ryan served as Moot Court Board Chairperson, Trial Advocacy Board Competitor, and Class President. He was also a national quarterfinalist in Moot Court and the overall winner of the Fall Invitational Advocacy Competition.

Ryan is an active member of the American Bar Association, Fourth Judicial District Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, and Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.
