2014 Car Seat Giveaway

Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys gave away 124 car seats Friday, May 9, at their annual Car Seat Giveaway.  Gordon and the firm feel very blessed to be able to do so and love offering a helping hand to the community.  Gordon McKernan and his staff understand the importance of bringing awareness to parents regarding their children’s safety in motor vehicles.

Motor vehicle injuries are a leading cause of death among children in the United States. But many of these deaths can be prevented. Buckling children in age- and size-appropriate car seats, booster seats, and seat belts reduces the risk of serious and fatal injuries up to 71%. Despite the weather, the car seat recipients came out and had a great time, and the event was a wonderful success. Gordon continues to look forward to additional giveaways in the months to come as well as finding new and exciting ways to give back to the community.
