Gordon McKernan Helps Young Boy’s Dream Birthday Party Come True

Brooks’ story began when his mother sent a touching message to Gordon McKernan, sharing her son’s birthday wish. This heartfelt request tugged at our heartstrings, and we knew we had to make it happen.

Without hesitation, we swung into action, determined to make Brooks’ special day truly extraordinary. Our team secured an impressive array of surprises for Brooks, including a life-size cardboard cutout of Gordon, a personalized mini billboards and stickers, coloring books, and Gordon-themed T-shirts for the birthday boy and his friends.

To add an extra layer of magic to the celebration, we invited Brooks and his parents to visit our Baton Rouge office to collect these special items in person. During their visit, Brooks had the privilege of an exclusive office tour, including the chance to sit in Gordon’s office chair. It was a moment that brought a smile to all of our faces.

The birthday party itself was a resounding success, filled with laughter, smiles, and cherished moments. A local Hammond bakery, Batter, contribute to the magic by crafting a remarkable Gordon McKernan-themed cake that perfectly captured the essence of the celebration. The bakery shared a video of the cake on social media, and it quickly went viral, spreading happiness far and wide.
