Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys Hosts 2018 Bike Giveaway
Each year, Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys looks forward to celebrating the holidays with our local communities during the firm’s annual bike giveaway. In 2018, we gave over 450 free bikes, Xboxes and Christmas gifts across the following cities we serve:
- Baton Rouge: 104 bikes, 5 Xboxes and other presents for various families
- Lafayette: 95 bikes
- Shreveport: 103 bikes
- Lake Charles: 20 bikes, 5 Xboxes
- Hammond: 20 bikes, 5 Xboxes
- Monroe: 20 bikes, 5 Xboxes
- Alexandria: 20 bikes, 5 Xboxes
“Christmas has always been my mom’s favorite holiday,” Gordon McKernan said. “I love coming up with the trivia questions each year to give away some of the bicycles and Xboxes. We are very thankful for the radio stations that assisted in randomly selecting winners from the entries that are submitted on our website.”
Santa Claus joined us at our Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Shreveport giveaways to take pictures with the kids and spread Christmas cheer among families who attended. To make sure that our little ones are safe on their new bikes, local doctors throughout the state donated helmets and knee pads.
Although the Get Gordon Team has hosted this annual bike giveaway for many years, each contest is special. In addition to bikes, we’ve added more Xboxes to the 2018 contest. We are also excited to extend the contest to a new city this year in Monroe, Louisiana. We will host a giveaway on December 22, at a local radio station 100.1 located at 1109 Hudson Lane, Monroe, LA from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Our charity arm, Gordon Gives, hosts giveaways, and other community-based events to support the children, families, and neighborhoods in the areas we serve. These events help us connect with families, promote safety awareness, and give back to the area residents.
