Louisiana Food Bank Drive – Penny Drive 2019

“In Louisiana, 773,850 people are struggling with hunger- and of them 255,640 are children.” We at Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys believe it is our responsibility and privilege to help those in need. In 2019 we started our first “Penny” Drive” initiative to raise funds for the food banks throughout the state of Louisiana. With the help of our team members and the community, we were able to raise over $1,500.

Community members could donate to the cause through donation boxes stationed at many local restaurants and businesses across the state. They were also able to make monetary donations at all 10 of our office locations. Each of our offices collected and donated all change from soft drink purchases. After collecting the funds, several of our attorneys and staff members from the Lafayette and Shreveport offices and spent a few hours of their day volunteering at the local food banks. One penny makes all the difference when it comes to helping others!
