Tanker Truck Crash on I-10 Westbound Temporarily Closes Two Lanes

Skid marks on the road after a tanker truck crash in Louisiana

On October 18th, Lafayette police reported an accident involving a tanker truck and a vehicle travelling westbound on I-10 temporarily closed two lanes around mile marker 104, according to The Advocate. While there have been reports of injuries, there has been no clarification on the state of the individuals involved in the crash.

Commercial or large truck accidents are not uncommon in Louisiana and, unfortunately, can subject the occupants of the other vehicle to life-changing, disabling injuries and, in the worst circumstances, death. Not only do victims and their loved ones experience unfair emotional trauma, but they also have to deal with the aftermath, which includes costly expenses like hospital bills, vehicle damage, and funeral expenses

No one should handle the burden of recovering from a truck accident alone.
