Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys is proud to announce our newest office has opened in Zachary, LA. The Zachary law office is our tenth location in Louisiana.
With local staffed offices in Gonzales and Denham Springs, we saw the need to continue extending our services for our clients in the greater Baton Rouge area. We are excited to build relationships with the Zachary community on the other side of the capital city!
Former Judge, Todd Hernandez, has joined the team at Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys and is located at our Zachary location.
“Todd entered the legal profession to help others. When he was presented with the opportunity to be of service to the community as a Judge, he qualified as a candidate for the 19th Judicial District Court in 2001. Later that year, Todd Hernandez was elected by a large margin and sworn in as a Judge of the 19th Judicial District Court for the Parish of East Baton Rouge.
Todd presided exclusively over criminal cases for the first eight years on the bench, during this time, he presided over hundreds of felony jury trials and multiple high profile first-degree murder cases. Currently, and for the last ten years, he has presided exclusively over a civil docket where he has presided over hundreds of civil hearings as well as multiple bench and jury trials.
Todd has been a licensed member and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar Association since 1992. He is a member of the Louisiana District Judge’s Association; American Judge’s Association; Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana and National Judicial College. He has taught at Southern University Law Center, and he has been a featured speaker in the areas of Attorney Professionalism, and Ethics, Louisiana Criminal Law Sentencing, Trial Advocacy and he has taught at the Baton Rouge City Police Department law enforcement training academy.”
