Breaking Barriers: Gordon McKernan Signs NIL Deal with LSU Tiger Girls Captain Darah Haidet

We’re thrilled to share an exciting milestone at Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys. We’ve signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Darah Haidet, the captain of the LSU Tiger Girls. This historic agreement represents our first-ever NIL partnership with a member of the Tiger Girls dance team. It couldn’t have come at a more fitting time, as the team brought home its second consecutive win at the Universal Dance Association College Nationals this past weekend.

Tiger Girls Spotlight

The Tiger Girls dove into the national spotlight last year at the 2022 Hip Hop National Championship in Orlando with an award-winning routine. The performance scored first place and went viral as a powerful symbol of female empowerment in sports. This year, the team earned first place in hip-hop and third place in jazz, marking the first time the team has placed top three in both the D1A hip-hop and jazz categories.

As ardent supporters of college women’s sports, our inspiration for this partnership runs deep. Darah brings 18 years of dance experience and a history of leadership. Having captained both the LSU Tiger Girls and the Saint Thomas Aquinas Starlettes dance team during high school, she has consistently demonstrated excellence. Darah’s accolades include Student of the Year, Student Council President, Miss STA, and Christian Values award recipient at STA.

Darah joins a distinguished roster of LSU female athletes partners, including Kyla Hebert and Mikaylah Williams. Together, we celebrate a shared commitment to fostering empowerment, breaking barriers, and honoring the outstanding achievements of female athletes.
