We’re celebrating the recent release of Top Gun: Maverick in the best way possible: billboards!
Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the renowned 1986 action film, has been all the buzz. We knew we had to do something to celebrate this blast from the past, so our marketing department, in collaboration with Lamar Advertising, launched two new Top Gun-inspired billboards.
One of our new Top Gun-inspired billboards, which is pictured above, reads “I feel the need, the need for G’s.” The text is inspired by “I feel the need, the need for speed,” a famous line spoken by Tom Cruise’s character Peter “Maverick” Mitchell in the 1986 film.
Our other Top Gun-inspired billboard reads “Insurance Company take your breath away?” This concept is an ode to Berlin’s Take My Breath Away, which was written for the 1986 film and won Academy and Golden Globe awards the same year.
Remember, if insurance ever takes your breath away, you’ll have the need, the need for G!
By the way, should Gordon keep the mustache?
