Alia Armstrong, On Your Marks, Get Set, Get Gordon: Gordon McKernan Signs NIL Deal with Track Star Alia Armstrong

We’re thrilled to share a development in our ongoing commitment to supporting student-athletes. Alia Armstrong, a sprinter for Louisiana State University’s track and field team, joins fellow sprinter Sean “Squirrel” Burrell as our newest Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partner.

Following Footsteps

Alia’s journey in the world of track and field commenced at St. Katharine Drexel Prep in New Orleans, where she earned four state titles at the 2019 and 2018 LHSAA State Championships. Her outstanding high school career set the stage for what would prove to be a remarkable collegiate journey.

Every athlete has a story of influence, and in Alia’s case, it’s a legacy of excellence. Alicia, her mother and a former hurdler at Mississippi State University, played a pivotal role in shaping Alia’s athletic path. By volunteering as the hurdles coach for her high school track team, Alicia instilled values of discipline and commitment in Alia.

Alia has accomplished numerous achievements during her collegiate career, including being crowned the SEC Champion over the 100m hurdles in 2023. Setting both personal and LSU records with an impressive time of 12.40 seconds, Alia’s achievement ranks fourth all-time in collegiate history.

Building Bridges Beyond the Track

Gordon McKernan expressed his enthusiasm for this groundbreaking partnership, stating, “Alia embodies the spirit of excellence we value at the firm. We’re privileged to support her journey and contribute to her continued success both on and off the track.”

At Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, our commitment goes beyond the courtroom. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with Alia to contribute to the broader community, emphasizing shared values of excellence and integrity.
