The Good Word:

No matter what hardships we face, God’s love and mercy never run out. We are reminded that no matter how difficult yesterday may have been, today begins with new grace and fresh compassion. Each morning is a gift, a chance to start again, strengthened by faith and the steadfast goodness of God. Through every challenge, He offers rest for our weary hearts and light for our next step. No matter how uncertain the path ahead may look, we can trust that His faithfulness never wavers and His love will carry us through.
Good in Action:
Attorney John Davis recovered a $150,000 settlement for a Shreveport client injured in a car accident. Each case is personal, because every client is a neighbor, a friend, a member of our community. Success in the courtroom means more than a settlement—it means helping someone regain stability and strength when life takes an unexpected turn.

Halloween has a way of bringing out the best in our communities, neighbors laughing, families gathering, and kids racing door to door with excitement. It’s a night to slow down, enjoy the moment, and remember how good it feels to simply celebrate together.
