The Good Word:
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
– Romans 12:12
Simple, steady truth. This verse reminds us that hope, patience, and prayer are the anchors of a faithful life. Joy gives us strength. Patience steadies us in the storms. Prayer keeps us connected to the One who guides our steps. When life feels heavy or unclear, these three reminders bring us back to what matters, staying rooted in Him. As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, we’re reminded just how much we have to be grateful for. May our hope, patience, and prayers overflow with gratitude for His goodness.
Good in Action:
Attorney Chad Coffelt secured a $200,000 settlement for a Lafayette client hurt in an big truck wreck.
Big truck crashes can leave victims facing long recoveries, and this result helps ensure they have the support needed to move forward. It’s a reminder of how important it is to have someone fighting for you when the road gets tough, someone to handle the pressure, protect your rights, and make sure you’re not left to face the aftermath alone. We’re proud to stand with our clients every step of the way as they rebuild and regain stability.
Gordon Says:
Seeing this short clip reminded me of what truly matters. My values are faith, family, and justice. I might be known for my marketing presence, but it goes far beyond that. Because it’s not just about being seen, it’s about being understood. It’s about the quiet moments when someone needs a voice, the times when doing the right thing isn’t convenient, the seasons when putting family first means everything.
And really, it’s about showing up with consistency and heart. The work I do isn’t just a profession, it’s a calling. Every person who comes to us is carrying their own story and their own struggle, and they deserve someone who listens, who cares, and who stands beside them like family. That’s what keeps me grounded, and that’s what guides me in everything I do.
Get Legal with @GetGordon:
It’s important to understand who you’re really suing after a car wreck. Even if the other driver’s name appears on the lawsuit, the claim is actually against their insurance company. That’s who pays. And that’s exactly why one of your first steps after a wreck should be contacting a lawyer. An attorney can protect your rights, deal with the insurance company for you, and make sure you fight for every dollar you deserve.
On your own, it’s easy to feel pressured into taking less than your case is worth. Insurance companies move fast, and they’re trained to protect their bottom line, not your wellbeing. Having a lawyer levels the playing field and gives you someone who knows the system and how to build a case that reflects the true impact of the wreck.
